The market is going up and down month by month, but prices are mostly stable and condo sales are still up. Prices have been flat for the last 2 years so it will be interesting to see when they will start inching up again, especially since we haven\u2019t had a great deal of inventory for the last 2 years. **Some complexes are seeing over 20% increases in prices but it really depends. Give me a call if you would like to know what the average prices are doing in a specific complex or neighborhood. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Total Sales for Summit County:<\/span> Total residential property sales for January through June 2013 are <\/span>up 15% <\/span>over the same period in 2012. The average price is <\/span>down only about 3%<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n Single Family Homes: <\/span>Single family home sales in May 2013 were slightly up from May 2012. June 2013 is <\/span>down about 28% <\/span>in transactions <\/span>from June 2012. This June is also <\/span>down 38% <\/span>from this May which is a little unusual. In the big picture of January through June 2013, we are <\/span>down 7% <\/span>for single family home sales from the same time period last year. The average price is <\/span>up about 4%<\/span> over last year.<\/span><\/p>\n Condos\/ Multi-Family:<\/span> Condo sales were about the same this year from May to June, but this June was <\/span>up 38% <\/span>over June 2012. January through June 2013 over 2012, we are <\/span>up 29%<\/span>! The average sales price is almost the same as last year.<\/span><\/p>\n Foreclosures:<\/span> In January through June 2013 we only have 28 properties foreclosed on (not including timeshares). That is a <\/span>35% decrease <\/span>over the same time period last year! <\/span><\/p>\n In other Summit News: <\/span>Nearly 40% of all summit County transactions were closed for cash. 41% of <\/span>Summit County purchasers are from the Front Range.
