Several days later, Summit County is still cleaning up the mess from Monday night’s storm!  We broke the 24- hour rain fall record of 2.6 inches set in 1893, eventually totaling nearly 4 inches.  Homeowners have reported flooding in their homes as well as washed out roads and driveways.  The nearly non-stop thunder and lightning was as intense as any long time local has ever seen.  For a full article check out Summit Daily News at .
